Seagrass Flannel Flower box vase (4234)

The flannel flower and seagrass box vase is perfect for flowers and beautiful on its own in between blooms.
The background pattern is made from a moulding of seagrass matting. My grandmother had a seagrass chair at her front window where she could sit and look out on the world. Whenever I use it, it is an acknowledgment of her life. :)
The vase is handmade from a slightly rough pale clay and then part glazed with a white glaze around the decoration, leaving the detail clear.
