Long Ear Hare E

Each of these clay hares are sculpted in my studio using a textured, earthy clay. They are finished with a soft white satin glaze. No two are exactly alike - each carries its own subtle character and marks of the making process.

They are inspired by the Celtic hare, who is seen as deeply connected to the rhythms of nature... the changing of the seasons, the cycles of the moon.

This symbolism carries beautifully into Easter, a time of renewal, rebirth, and transformation. The rabbit- a familiar symbol of the season - echoes these ancient themes, making each piece not just a decoration, but a small meaningful object to return to each year and remind you of the possibility of renewal.
